Waves of grain in Indiana May 2021

I've always loved the changes to every season, but spring and fall are standouts. Here's an entire farm in winter wheat. It's on Indiana 42 near Cloverdale. It was blooming and pollinating that day, and it smelled almost as sweet as pollinating corn. I always thought it would be a fine thing to be a wheat farmer, at least after I gave up on my original occupational dream of being a milkman. I'll try to update with another photo when it turns to gold.
